|SUNSHINE THROUGH GOLF CAMPS|
Throughout the summer, 92 camps for more than 1,200 individuals with special needs were conducted at courses throughout the Chicago District! Thanks to all who participated and the golf professionals and Special Recreation Associations that help put on the camps.|

|FORE OUR VETERANS GOLF OUTING|
Thank you to all participants and sponsors who helped make the inaugural Fore Our Veterans Golf Outing a success on Sept. 28! More than 120 golfers played in the event. All proceeds from the outing will go towards veterans programming put on by the CDGA Foundation and Odyssey Golf Foundation.|

|YOUTH ON COURSE COMES TO CHICAGO|
Beginning in 2016, the CDGA and CDGA Foundation will partner with Youth on Course. Founded by the Northern California Golf Association and headquartered in Pebble Beach, Youth on Course subsidizes rounds for its age 6-18 members, ensuring that they can play for $5 or less. YoC pays participating courses the difference between the $5 and their respective junior rates, allowing youths access to the game and courses a full tee sheet, future players and increased revenue.|

|VETERANS GOLF DAY|
On Sept. 21, the CDGA Foundation co-hosted RevelationGolf’s Veterans Golf Day along with Cog Hill Golf and Country Club. A group of 35 veterans received instruction from PGA professionals and played the Three-Hole Sunshine Course at Midwest Golf House.|

|100 HOLE PAR 3 GOLF MARATHON|
For the last eight years, the Par 3 100-Hole Golf Marathon has been an integral part of the CDGA Foundation’s fundraising efforts.|
Participants raised more than $66,000 for the Foundation in 2016, culminating with 18 golfers playing 100 par-3 holes May 21 at Zigfield Troy Golf in Woodridge. The Golf Marathon has now raised a total of $650,000 for Foundation programming in its eight-year history. Click here for more information.
|PLAY WITH A PRO DAYS|
Conducted annually since 2006 surrounding professional golf events visiting the Chicagoland area, Play With a Pro Day gives CDGA Foundation athletes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from and interact with professional golfers they’ve grown to idolize.|
This summer, two such events were held - one in June before the Web.com Tour’s Rust-Oleum Championship, and another in July prior to the LPGA’s UL International Crown. Click here for photos and more information from the events.
|CDGA FOUNDATION GOLF OUTING|
Having recently completed its 16th year, the CDGA Foundation Outing serves as one of the Foundation’s key fundraising efforts. The Outing traditionally features a luxurious golf experience at a premier course, including a limited field, high-end tee gifts, exquisite meals, and much more.|
